I just wondered what your thoughts are on this:
I have formed my own opinion of my son loving his sisters doll (and Barbies, and bows, and tiaras). Even to the point where the only way I could get him to take a 2nd nap yesterday was to lay him down with the doll. So your thoughts?? Your spouses thoughts??
I will post my thoughts and my husbands opinion later. I am just curious.
yes- the sheet is pink- i can explain that later too. For now- he had a bad stomach bug and since putting the pink sheet on his bed, he hasn't had any issues at night.

First of all, I am laughing so hard right now. :)
My thoughts... I say who cares... he's just a baby and if it gets him to sleep then that's all that matters. If that pattern continues, then you may have to do something about it. :) My husband would probably just die though. :) Guys are so funny about their boys! At least mine is... he wants McKay to be "tough" and hates that he sucks his thumb b/s it's (quote) "girly." :)
Mason sometimes plays with a baby doll. He'll come up to me while he's hugging it. I don't see it as any different than a stuffed animal. My husband's okay with it, or at least he says he is. I don't see anything wrong with letting him play with a kitchen toys either.
He is just mimicking what he sees his sister doing. I was a huge tomboy when I was younger (I had two older brothers). I hated barbies and almost any kind of doll, probably because I didn't see my brothers playing with them.
I say there is nothing wrong with it now. But if it continues as he gets older, I would probably shove tractors and cars in his face and hide all the dolls :)
I think its fine for boys to play with dolls. Its cute when they hug and hold them. It shows their nurturing side which guys need. He likes trucks and cars and playing rough. If you make a big deal and tell him no then it will become an issure. He will probably get tired of it soon enough. If not his friends will make fun of him when he gets older and he'll quit.
He's gonna be a great dad!! Yep the little ones do what they see their siblings doing. :) No big deal. Although it is fun to freak the dad's out!
I love that cute little boy! My brothers played with our dolls and barbies & we played with their toys. BOTH of my boys had their OWN cabbage patch doll, that they insisted on having because the girls got one. They even slept with them until recently & you know how they LOVE trucks and cars and football and BOY stuff. They grew out of it, but it is comforting to them when they are little. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I love and miss you guys!
Burke and Gavin both had baby dolls. Drove Howard plum crazy. It was so cute though. I wish I could have those days back.
Lol, Cheree, I remember Burke wanted a "lavender" kitchen. Couldn't he at least have wanted a purple kitchen, why does it have to be lavender. :)
